Refund policy

Window. You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to request a return.

Condition. Items must be unused, in resalable condition, and returned in their original packaging with any included accessories, manuals and battery cells. Tools that show job-site wear cannot be returned.

Restocking fee. None.

Who pays return shipping. If the item arrived damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we cover return shipping and send a prepaid label. If you simply changed your mind, return shipping is yours to cover.

How to start a return. Email support@homeofbuilders.com with your order number and, where relevant, photos of the problem. We reply with return instructions and the address. Do not ship anything back before you have those instructions — parcels sent to the wrong warehouse cannot be traced or refunded.

Refund timing. Once the returned item reaches the warehouse and passes inspection, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take a further few days to post it.

Exchanges. We do not process direct exchanges. Return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

Order cancellation. Orders can be cancelled for a full refund at any point before they are dispatched. Once a tracking number exists, the order has left the warehouse and the return process above applies.

Lasers and measuring tools. These arrive factory-calibrated. If a unit is out of calibration on arrival, that is a defect — tell us within the 30-day window and we cover everything.
